Artist's Statement
My paintings are inspired by observations of transience, upheaval and renewal in the landscape. I am particularly interested by the impact of human endeavour and layers of history on our natural environment.
The demolition and regeneration of Ipswich Waterfront was the starting point for work undertaken during my BA in Fine Art at UCS (graduated 2008) while recent paintings have explored coastal themes.
