How to Join

The Society runs several exhibitions during the year. Some of these are subject to selection. Besides the opportunity to exhibit, the life of the Society includes lectures, excursions and social events, invitations to private views and open studios, and discounts at listed art shops. Newsletters tell you all about forthcoming events and can help publicise your solo shows. Members, Associate Members, and Friends are welcome to join in with as many or as few activities as they wish.

Anyone with an interest in the visual arts, whether practitioner or not, is welcome to become a Friend of the Society. (Membership or Associate Membership of the Society is by selection. The first step to becoming a Member or Associate Member is to have work accepted for the Annual Open Exhibition.)

Subscriptions

The annual subscription, as from 1st January 2003, is ...

• £10 as a Friend
• £20 as a Member or Associate Member.

The subscription runs from the start of January through to the end of the year. After the Annual Open Exhibition, held at the end of May, a reduced subscription is available for the remainder of the year (£5 for a Friend and £10 for a Member or Associate Member.)

To become a Friend, simply send a cheque, made out to 'Ipswich Art Society', to the society's treasurer at the following address along with your name and address details.
