Derek Chambers
Was born in Ilford in 1937. In 1952 he started work as a messenger in a London Advertising Agency. In 1962 he formed a partnership as a Creative Consultnat in Mayfair which eventually moved to Covent Garden in the 70’s.
15 years later he started a new graphic design partnership in Soho. This partnership lasted until 1994, when he moved to Aldeburgh, Suffolk to concentrate on drawing, painting and printmaking.

The Royal Watercolour Society (Prizewinner 2008), Royal academy Summer Exhibitions, The Federation of British Artists, Mall Galleries: New English Art Club, Discerning Eye, Singer & Friedlander’ Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, National Print & ‘Originals’, Royal Society of Marine Artists, Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Eastern Open (Prizewinner 2003).
