Artist's Statement

Developing my drawing abilities since childhood, my later studies led me to explore the possibilities of colour. Closer understanding and love for some subject matter have inspired my wildlife-, equestrian-, and marine paintings and led me to take on commissions (inc. portraits). As interest in my work is continually growing, sales of my work have increased, especially ''seascapes' and 'marine' subjects. However, I am motivated and inspired by a wide variety of different subject matter. This manner of change, and experimenting with a host of different methods and media helps to keep my approaches fresh and exciting and allows my work to 'stretch' and evolve.

Studied painting & drawing and art foundation, 3 years, at Sir John Cass School of Art - Whitechapel, London.
